愛に満ちた平和な世界の創造

自ら設計する建築の力で、一人でも多くの人に幸せと悦びを提供し続け

【世の中の幸せの総量を増やす】ことに貢献する

□建築とは
特定な目的のもと新しい空間を創造する行為と考えています。

その空間に愛を注ぎ込むことが建築に携わる者の使命であります。
建築家だけでなく、監督、現場の職人さん達が目的を共有し、英知と情熱と思いやりを集結させる事により“クライアントに幸せと悦びを提供する”という最も大切な力を創出し、建築に魂を宿らせる事が可能となります。

それを中心になってプロデュースしていくのが建築家です。

私は建築家として常に以下のことを追求しています。

今まで特段意識していなかった人々が、

「何かこの建物いいよね」

「何か街の雰囲気が良くなったね」

「建築って面白そうだね」

このように建築に対して興味を持ち始める。

この興味を呼び起こす力を創造することも建築家の重要な職務の一つです。

いつの時代も多くの方が、「少しでも世の中が良くなる為に」という純粋な想いで行動を起こし社会貢献をされています。私も未来がより良い世界になることを心から願っており、微力ではありますが、建築を通して必ず貢献出来ると信じて活動しています。

■外観が周辺環境に馴染みながらも独特な個性・雰囲気を醸し出し、道行く人から「素敵なお家ですね」と声を掛けて頂けたなら

■夜には仄かな明りが灯され、日中とは違う温もりのある表情で家族の帰宅を迎えてくれたなら

■玄関扉の向こうに外観からは想像出来ない意外性・演出性のある空間が展開されていたなら

■リビングが時間の移ろいと共に変化する光と影・吹き抜ける風を感じられ、自然に家族が集う居心地の良い空間であったなら

■一日の始まりを迎える洗面所やダイニングが朝日の降り注ぐ空間であったなら

■浴室が廻りの視線を気にすることなく、大きな開口部からお気に入りの植栽や切り取られた風景を愉しむことが出来る空間であったなら

■日常の喧騒から離れて自分だけの世界に浸れる書斎があったなら

■子供部屋が将来の変化に対応出来る可変性を兼ね備えた造りになっていたなら

■家全体が天然木、石、漆喰等の拘りの自然素材で構成され、年月を重ねるごとに味わいが増し経年変化を愉しむことができたなら

きっとあなた、ご家族の皆様はお家に対して誇りと愛着を持って頂けるようになります。

そして日々の生活において自然と気持ちが上向きになり、心にゆとりができ、

人生がより豊かになります。

ここまでのキャリアにおいて“建築には人々を幸せにする力を宿らせることが出来る”という事を体験してきました。私はこのような素晴らしい力を持った建築を一人でも多くの方に提供する為、全力で業務に取り組んでいます。

クライアントの持たれている条件・希望は様々です。

立地条件、家族構成、予算、ライフスタイル・・・

打合せを重ね、相互理解を図り、要望を整理しながらカタチにしていきます。

模型、パース等で具体的にイメージを共有しながら計画をまとめていきます。

その過程において最も重要なことは、

〔要望をしっかり受止め、そこに想いを馳せ、いかに建築に愛を注ぎ込むことが出来るか〕　

なのです。

私が建築家として何よりも誇れるのは、この職務を力の限りを尽くして全うすることです。

Corporate philosophy

Creating a peaceful world full of love

I wish to continue providing happiness and joy to as many people as possible through my architecture and to contribute to incleasing the total amount of happiness in the world.

□What is architecture?
It is an act of creating a new space for a specific purpose.

It is the mission of the people involved in architecture to pour love into that space.Not only architects hold this responsibility but also project directors and craftsmen share this purpose and should bring together their wisdom, passion and compassion to provide the clients with happiness and joy, so it becomes possible to let the soul dwell peacefully in the architecture.

As an architect, I always pursue the following:

〔Create a special space that impresses people〕

〔Create architecture that can give a good stimulus to the surrounding environment〕

To stimulate thought and interest in people who weren't particularly aware of architecture until now.
For example;
「I don't know why but I like this building.」
「The atmosphere of the town has improved since that building was built.」

Power to arouse this interest is one important duty of an architect.

In any generation, many people are contributing to society by working to improve the world as much as possible. I sincerely hope that the future brings a better world and although I don't have much overall power, I'm sure I can contribute through my architecture.

□ Please imagine
If your home is ...

■ If the facade is familiar to the surrounding environment but creates a unique personality and atmosphere making people on the road say to you "It's a wonderful house".

■ If the night time lighting creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, different from the daytime.

■ If there is a space beyond the front door that is surprising yet directing in a way that cannot be imagined from the outside.

■ If the living room is a cozy space where families can naturally gather to feel the light, shadows, and wind blowing through over time.

■If the washroom and dining area captures the morning sunshine.

■If the kitchen is a spacious area where you can talk face-to-face with your family and guests while enjoying cooking together.

■If the bathroom is a space where you can enjoy your favorite plants and cut-out scenery from the large opening in complete privacy.

■If there is a study where you can immerse yourself in your own world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

■ If the children's room is able to adapt to future changes.

■If the whole house is made of natural wood, stone, plaster and other natural materials, the building will mature over time allowing you to enjoy the changes.

You and your family will surely become attached to and feel proud of your home.

Your daily feelings will naturally improve, you will feel more relaxed and your life will be enriched.

In my career so far, I have experienced that "architecture can have the power to make people happy."I am doing my best to provide architecture with such wonderful power to as many people as possible.

There are various conditions and hopes that clients have, such as location, family structure, budget, lifestyle etc...

We will hold meetings to gain mutual understanding and organize requests to create a solid plan.We will then summarize that plan while sharing the image concretely by the model and perspective.
The most important thing in the process is how I can firmly accept the requests and pour love into the architecture.

What I am most proud of as an architect is doing my best to complete this task.

人生理念

一地球人としての愛

All you need is love,love is all you need

多大な影響を受けた人物の一人で憧憬するジョン・レノンの言葉です。

ここまで約半世紀の人生を歩んで来た中で確信していることがあります。
それは、世の中で最も大切で常に必要とされているものは愛だという事です。

未だに戦争、差別、虐待、いじめ等が存在しているということは、残念ながら世の中の愛がまだまだ不足しているということです。

把握出来ない程広い宇宙の中で考えますと、地球は極めて小さい一つのコミュニテイーに過ぎません。自分の住んでいる町内で大量殺戮兵器を持って隣人と戦争を起こしますか？ということです。
地球程美しい星はありません。その美しい地球が深刻に病んでいます。
世界中の人が一地球人としての意識を持つことは、決して難しいことではないと考えます。

私はこれからの人生、家族、仲間、これまでの出会いとこれからの新しい出会いを今まで以上に大切にし、一地球人として愚直に設計活動を行って参ります。

■ここまで、そしてこれからの人生

現在の日本の平均寿命は、女性が87歳で男性が81歳です。私は現在52歳ですが、恐らく30年後の寿命は100歳近くになっているのではないでしょうか。
ここまでの人生を振り返りそして今後を展望して行くと、25年が大きなタームになると思いました。
最初の25年を振り返りますと、何事においても思慮浅く、ただただ感覚的に、恐ろしい程適当で、そして極めて自己中心的に生きて来ました。
人生が終わってしまってもおかしくない経験もしましたが、それを乗り越えられたのは、家族、友人の支えと数々の強運が重なったからだと思います。

次の25年で大転換期を迎えました。
結婚（妻に出会うまでは生涯一人で自由に生きていこうと考えていたのですが・・・）、そして三人の子供の誕生です。
ここで人生観、価値観、世界観、全てが完全に変わりました。
我が子に限らず、子供達は世界の宝だという事に気が付きました。
その子供達の為に、愛に満ちた平和な世界であって欲しい。それを実現する為には、一人一人が意識を変え、志しを高く持ち、行動を起こしていかないといけない。
今まで考えもしなかったことですが、心の底からそう願い真剣に考えるようになりました。

祖父が宮大工、父親が現場監督という血筋の影響もあってか、キャリアにおいても幸運を発揮し、ここまで建築設計を生業としてきました。
議論を重ね、意見をぶつけ合いながら多くの物事を拘り抜いて作り上げた建築は、竣工時に感動を与え、強い愛着を生み出します。
建築家として持てる力の全てを建築に注ぎ込めば、必ず人々に幸せと悦びを提供出来ます。
それを可能とする建築設計の仕事は本当に素晴らしい職業だと思います。

これからの25年は、掲げた企業理念と人生理念の基、邁進して参ります。
子供達に、愛に満ちた平和な世界を受け継いでもらえるように。

Life philosophy

Love as an earthling

All you need is love,love is all you need

It is the words of John Lennon, who I admire and have been greatly influenced.

I am convinced that I have lived for about half a century so far.
The most important and always being needed thing in the world is love.

The fact that so much injustice and discrimination unfortunately
still exists today,means lack of love in the world.

The earth is just one extremely small community in an unimaginably wide universe.No star is as beautiful as the Earth.That beautiful earth has been seriously ill.So we should try harder to live in harmony and take care of our planet as best we can.

In the future I will continue to cherish my family, friends, old and new experiences more than ever and will carry out my design activities honestly as an earthling.

■Life up to now and in the future

Currently, the average life expectancy in Japan is 87 for women and 81 for men.I'm 52 years old now(2021)but perhaps in 30 years the life expectancy will be close to 100 years of age.

Looking back on the first 25 years of my life everything seemed thoughtless, sensuously scary and horribly unreliable. I lived extremely selfishly then but was made to reflect as I had an experience that could've ended my life. Fortunately, I was able to overcome it with the support of my family, friends and a lot of good luck.

During the last 25 years I reached a major turning point, marriage. I always imagined I'd live alone for the rest of my life, until I met my wife! With the eventual arrival of three children my outlook on life, values and the world completely changed. I realized that children, not just my own, are treasures of the world and we must provide a peaceful world full of love for them. In order to achieve that, each person must change their consciousness, have high aspirations and take positive action. I never considered it much before but now, from the bottom of my heart, I think about it so seriously.

I've been fortunate with my career, probably because my grandfather was a carpenter and my father was a construction supervisor ,architectural design has been my bread-and-butter job.The architecture created by repeated discussions and exchanged of opinions and sticked to many things impresses people and creates a strong attachment.If I put all the power I have as an architect into architecture, I can always provide happiness and joy to people.

I think the architectural design work that makes it possible is a really wonderful profession.

For the next 25 years, I will continue to push forward based on corporate and this philosophy of life.
To have children inherit a peaceful world full of love.
